My name is Molly Thompson. I am a certified Pilates teacher through Pilates Method Alliance and also have a BA in exercise from Purdue. I have been teaching Pilates for 11 years now. I took interest in Pilates because I love the elegance and the sophistication of the movements. Pilates is so versatile that truly every size, shape, and age can benefit and develop a love for what your body and brain can do. Over the last 13 years I’ve had 4 kids. Pilates has helped me “bounce” back and become aware of how to hold my body, so that when I’m caring for my crew, I’m not creating the pains and appearance associated with aging and caring for my family. I would recommend Pilates to men and women because the more one holds and moves the body correctly, the longer one can retain their youth while playing and working pain free. My name is Belkys Cline. I have been teaching Pilates for over 5 years now, and I love it! I completed comprehension classes through BASI Pilates, and I have participated in intense workshops through Balanced Body. Pilates is a great workout that can vary in intensity depending on your ability. It can help a 17 year old athlete, as well as an 83 year old elderly person with pain issues to achieve goals and improve overall health. Pilates has so many health benefits. It has toned my muscles and improved my endurance and figure, as well as my overall health. I know that once you decide to try Pilates you will be hooked because the benefits can be life changing.
My name is Terry DeLion. I have been teaching Pilates for about 2 years now. I’ve taken specialty classes in pregnancy Demystified, low back pain, and Pilates Logic through Balanced Body. I do a lot of computer work and noticed that I had developed many restrictions. Pilates has helped relieve a lot of those restrictions, has improved my posture, and has taught me to overcome my limitations. I am much stronger since when my journey with Pilates started. Pilates is such a great way for anyone to workout, despite your limitations, age, or ability. Keeping our bodies in motion as we age is the key to staying active, and doing Pilates has helped me achieve that. Pilates offers several options through mat, springboard, cadillac, reformer, and much more. Come join the fun!
